Strategy for Survivor Support

SPAN-GA has created a strategy for developing and implementing survivor support services within a community.  It is a 4-pronged approach that impacts survivors in many ways, including direct services, community awareness and stigma reduction, professional training, and creating access to survivor information.

Reaching all the members of survivor families on many levels is key to meeting their needs.   and by helping to change the commuinty around them through education and support, give the survivor family a safer place to grieve.

This model is the guide for our efforts to support survivors of a suicide loss.
